Johannes Strada invenit. 6 Giovanni de' Medici, in the Battle of Pavia, by order of Francis, King of the French, attacks a place outside the city looming over the royal camp, which the Spaniards had fortified and were defending fiercely, after the French had attempted it in vain; having driven out the garrison, he destroys and burns it, and is adorned with honorable gifts by the King.
