Raffaello - inv 134 S v., scuola (attribuzione tradizionale)

This is the reverse side of a sheet of paper featuring a faint anatomical sketch of a human figure on the right. The paper shows extensive foxing and age-related staining, along with a prominent 'GDSU' watermark. Such sketches were typical of High Renaissance workshop practices used for mastering human proportion.

While a minor technical study, it belongs to the school of Raphael, whose work synthesized Neoplatonic philosophy and Christian theology to depict man as the 'microcosm' of the universe.
