Psyche, returning from the Underworld, brings back to Venus the golden box of divine beauty, a gift from Proserpina; the Goddess is truly turned to admiration by the success of such a great deed. Boys also carry the heavy club of the conquered Hercules, with which he tamed wild monsters. The Harpy is a labor of Hercules. Cupid, consumed by the heat of his own flame, complains to Great Jupiter about his mother and begs for marriage with Psyche.
