Vestiges of the Island of St. Bartholomew, formerly called in ancient times the island of Lycaonian Juno, or rather of Aesculapius, because those gods had their temples there; said island was made in the form of a ship or galley, as
vestiges of which can be seen even today, which are shown by the signs written below. A. was the area where said ship was built upon. B. the stern part of it. C. the Fabricius bridge, today called the bridge of the four heads. D. the Cestius bridge, now called the bridge of St. Bartholomew, because the church of this saint is situated on said island.
