Consequently, some people—among those who are currently devoting their desires, thoughts, and efforts original: "devours"; likely a variant or error for "endeavors" to reforming the method of study—began to urge me to publish my philosophical works, or at least requested that I share my ideas, especially in Physics original: "Physicks"; at this time, this referred generally to natural science and the study of the physical world.
