The inside cover or endpaper of the manuscript features a vibrant peacock or combed marbled paper design. The colors include deep red, ochre yellow, and teal blue. A small rectangular white paper label is pasted in the upper central area. This label has a decorative border of small printed crosses and corner flourishes. A metal book clasp is partially visible on the left edge of the page.
