...all the instruments granted to us for grasping those things which God has revealed: namely, the external and internal Senses, and the sound power of reasoning; and finally, Faith to be applied to the divine oracles In this context, "oracles" refers to the Holy Scriptures as the direct word of God. For if all these are applied in every possible way, they will cause us to know all things that can be known. For because nothing can be known except what has been revealed—grasped either by Sense, by Reason, or by Faith, or by all of them together—whoever knows those things, why should they not be said to know everything?

XVI. The goal of the Book will be universal utility original Greek: "παγχρησία" (panchresia) — meaning "all-usefulness" or "all-purpose application": namely, Universal Use, of All things for All purposes: so that whatever a Human must do or endure, in time and in eternity, may be learned here at once. Here, let the human MIND be formed for a sufficient knowledge of all things; and the HANDS and the rest of the limbs, for the useful performance of any good works; and the TONGUE, for the fitting expression of all the mind’s thoughts; and the AFFECTIONS Affections: the emotions, desires, or inclinations of the soul, for the pursuit of all useful things and the flight from useless ones; and finally, let the HEART be directed toward God, and in Him alone so...
