...all the instruments granted to us for grasping those things which God has revealed: namely, the external and internal Senses, and the sound power of reasoning; and finally, Faith to be applied to the divine oracles In this context, "oracles" refers to the Holy Scriptures as the direct word of God. For if all these are applied in every possible way, they will cause us to know all things that can be known. For because nothing can be known except what has been revealed—grasped either by Sense, by Reason, or by Faith, or by all of them together—whoever knows those things, why should they not be said to know everything?
