One proceeds through the houses in this manner. In whichever house no planets are found, that sign in the Speculum Mirror or table also remains empty of planets. Once all the planets are in the Mirror, a 1 is noted in the last box under the sign of the first house. Then a 2 is noted in the last box of the second sign, and so on up to 12 in the last box of the 12th sign. If no planets are in the first house, the digits are first entered at the top in the same way they were entered below.
When all this has been completed, the Aspecten aspects or angular relationships must be cast. This is done in the following manner: one casts all the aspects across the width. Since the Mirror is 12 boxes wide and 10 boxes long, one calculates the entry or casting of the aspects as follows:
When the planet is found in the box under a sign, say:
Afterward, one examines the houses to see which are good or evil. Each sign indicates this vertically through its good and evil aspects according to their number. This makes the sign and house either good or evil. Then the Judicium Judgment or final reading is formed according to the house from which the question originates. This will be seen more clearly in the second part, or from the so-called Praxin Practice. Before one proceeds to the practice, the signs, figures, and planets must be well learned.
