The original title is "Aurora," which is Latin for the morning redness or the breaking of the light before sunrise.
A symbolic engraving is framed within a double-line border. At the top of the page, a banner or scroll displays the title "Dawn." Light rays radiate downwards from behind the banner. In the lower half of the frame, a large and complex sphere appears. It is composed of intersecting bands or ribbons. Each band is densely covered with numerous human eyes. This depiction refers to the "wheels" or Ophanim: a class of celestial beings in the Bible described as wheels within wheels covered in eyes from the vision of the prophet Ezekiel. To the bottom right, a dark and heavily shaded globe or celestial body is partially visible. This provides a contrast to the light shining from above.
