If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we’d love to hear from you.

What doors could be deeper to bring to your sight,
If by your own judgment you now proved it right?
But now from these writings you all shall see clearly,
I’ll begin in this century to show you all here,
The doors that were bolted so strongly against man,
When he came out of the garden of Eden;
So deep from his knowledge I’ll bring to his view,
I now shall unbolt them, and you’ll see it is true.
But surely, like the Bible, this all must come around,
And none but my sheep can ever judge the sound.
But now I’ll speak more plainly and come to the Fall:
I opened your side, and I closed it from all;
For deep was the sleep that I cast upon man,
And deep is the mystery—the bone referring to Eve, created from Adam's rib must return,
So closely united in heart and in mind,
Or the man humanity in its perfected state to perfection you never can find.
So now I will open the door from the Fall;
Then sew no more fig-leaves, for they will not cover everything.
Ah! why from my presence do you hide yourselves?
Remember the bone that I took from your side;
Your blame was then cast upon her and me God,
And this is the door that I shall now burst open,
To cast her temptations back onto Satan and men.
And in her next volume her history must come,
How she has been tempted, and how she withstood it;
Then I ask you, to what spirit will you attribute her?
See how often her senses have been judged by man,
Then you’ll see how many of their senses were gone;
Those who judged by her virtue that her senses were gone;
You’ll find in her history that it fell back on them.
So first I have brought the blow back upon man,
And next my fury shall flow upon the serpent;
Then you’ll see the woman either Eve or Joanna as her representative was taken from my side;
The Scriptures apply to those so united in heart.
So know that from this woman the fullness has come,
You’ll find I am present in the woman’s form;
That is, in her form all this appears;
But surely it is my Spirit that makes it all clear;
For by her own wisdom she cannot achieve,
Any more than another, the way I direct.
"Now I shall come to the fullness of time, of the woman made under the law. When the woman was first created, she was made to complete the happiness of man and to be his helpmate. The tree of knowledge was planted in the garden of Eden. The woman was taken from the side of man; not from the dust of the ground, but from puri-
