Arrangement original: "dispositio", however, is the proper placement of things and an elegant effect in the composition of the work, matched with quality. The types of arrangement, which in Greek are called ideas original: "ἰδέαι", are these: ground plan, elevation, and perspective.
A ground plan original: "ichnographia" involves the continuous use of the compass and the ruler, through which the outlines of the building's forms are laid out upon the ground of the sites.
An elevation original: "orthographia", on the other hand, is an upright image of the front, a figure drawn to scale according to the proportions of the future work.
