Concerning the Trinity, it is more "intelligible" original: "intelligibile"; referring to the realm of pure being that can be understood by the mind than "intellectual" original: "intellectuale"; referring to the active faculty of the mind. Through the sub-celestial concavity, it is more intellectual than intelligible. Through the heavens, it is that which participates equally in both.
¶ Whatever things are stated affirmatively in the Phaedrus A dialogue by Plato concerning the soul and divine madness regarding the super-celestial place: they are spoken of not as the simply "First," but as having superior genera before them in which they participate. Whatever things are stated negatively: they are spoken of as they relate by analogy to the "First Good," which is the absolute head of all things, not determined by this or that specific order.
¶ Ambrosia The food of the gods is analogous to the "Limit," and nectar to the "Infinite."

¶ The One, Alterity The state of being "other" or different, and "That-Which-Is" are the causes of numbers: the One of united things; Alterity of generative things; and "That-Which-Is" of substantial things.
¶ In participated numbers, the species of numbers are one thing, and the unions of those species are another.
¶ Where the point-like unity falls into the alterity of the binary the number two, there is the first triangle.
¶ He who understands the order of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 12 will hold the exact distribution of Providence.
¶ Through the One, the Three, and the Seven, we know in Pallas Athena/Wisdom the power of the unification of discretion, and the cause and beatification of the intellect.
¶ The triple proportion—Arithmetic, Geometric, and Harmonic—indicates to us the three daughters of Themis The goddess of divine law and order: being symbols of Judgment, Justice, and Peace.
