The book features a quarter-leather binding with a reddish-brown spine. The front cover is decorated with marbled paper in an organic, large-patterned design consisting of tan or ochre "stones" or cells separated by dark green outlines and interspersed with small veins of red.
A white paper library label is affixed to the lower part of the spine, containing the following printed and handwritten text:
