It is written: The natural man perceives nothing of the Spirit of God; it is foolishness to him, and he cannot understand it. (1 Corinthians 2:14.) And again, it is also written: The Spirit searches all things, even the depths of the Godhead. (1 Corinthians 2:10.)
If "Master Clever-wit" original: "Meister Klügling" — a derisive term for a person who relies solely on intellectual pride or worldly logic without spiritual insight should attempt to approach these questions and explain them without Divine Light, he would be unable to do so; he might even consider it a sin to ask such high questions, simply because he himself cannot understand them. To such a person we say: let him leave this to those to whom the Spirit of God wishes to give it (the Spirit which searches all things through the spirit of man), for to him it is still an incomprehensibility and seems to him to be impossible.
