ON THE SIGNATURE

We recognize that all human characteristics come from one source, that they have only a single root and mother; otherwise, one human being could not understand another through sound. For with the sound or speech, the form original: "gestalt" imprints itself into the form of another; a similar sound catches and moves the other. In the sound, the Spirit imprints its own likeness—which it has created in the essence Essence: the underlying spiritual substance of a thing and brought into form in the Beginning original: "Principio". Thus, one can understand through the word what the Spirit has created for itself, whether in evil or in good. With that same designation, it enters into the form of another person and awakens a similar form in the signature Signature: the external "sign" or physical appearance that reveals the internal character of that other person. Consequently, the forms of both interact original: "inqualiren," meaning to work together or merge qualities within a single form; then there is one shared concept, one will, one spirit, and also one understanding.

And then, secondly, we understand that the signature or form is not the Spirit itself, but rather the container or chest of the Spirit wherein it lies. For the signature stands in the essence and is just like a lute that stands still; it is indeed silent and misunderstood. But if one strikes it, then one understands the form—in what shape and preparation it stands, and according to which voice it is tuned.
