8. Now we are to understand by the ignition original: "inflammation"; the act of catching fire or being kindled of the fire a twofold fire, a twofold Spirit, and a twofold Essence. This consists of a Love-fire in the free Lubet Lubet: From the German "Lust," referring to a divine inclination, longing, or delight that precedes the will which is made substantial original: "Essentiall" through the impression or Desire. In the fire, the Spirit and Essence separate original: "severize"; yet they remain mutually in one another, just as soul and body are one. As the Spirit is, so is the Essence. Just as there is a holy, sweet Essence and a holy, sweet Spirit in the impression of the free Lubet, there is also in the dark impression an astringent, harsh, raw, and bitter Essence and Spirit. As the Essence is, so also is the Mind of the Understanding and the will within that Essence.
9. Although the Eternal [Essence] is spiritual in reference to the temporal, the true Spirit is much more subtle original: "Subtile"; meaning fine, thin, or ethereal than that which it makes into a substance during its conception:
