• The Alembic original: "alambicus"; the rounded or conical cap placed over the heating vessel to catch rising vapors.: The vessel resting directly on the heat source.
• The Delivery Tube: A long, curved neck extending from the alembic, designed to allow vapors to cool as they travel away from the furnace.
