A detailed heraldic bookplate featuring a crest with a griffin-like creature surmounting an ornate helmet. The central shield is quartered with various charges including crescents, birds, fleur-de-lis, and wavy lines. The entire shield is surrounded by elaborate baroque scrollwork. A ribbon above the crest and another below the shield contain mottoes. Below the lower ribbon is a decorative plaque with ownership information.
