JESUSIHS: A monogram for the name of Jesus, known as a Christogram. It is derived from the first three letters of "Jesus" in Greek (iota-eta-sigma). For the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), this symbol represents their order and is traditionally depicted with a cross rising from the "H" and three nails below it, all surrounded by a sunburst.
