...disposition to Aries original: $γ$ and it will congeal and stand firm, and it is as if dead because there is no motion except by the motion of Saturn original: $\hbar$. Therefore, one born in that month comes forth dead and shall not taste life until the ninth month comes, which belongs to Saturn; then the disposition returns to Aries, and then life comes and motion, because the wind moves the child in the womb original: tunda, likely a corruption of 'tunica' or 'secundina' and places him in position, and he exits from the confinement of the belly and stretches out into the world.
On the legitimacy and illegitimacy of birth
Sun in Aries
When you wish to know whether a birth be legitimate or from adultery, look to the parts of the parent. If the part of nativity appears in a sign, let it come from the house, or the term, or the exaltation, or the triplicity of the Sun original: $\odot$; then he shall be legitimate. And if it is not from the Sun, it is from adultery [by] Saturn, Jupiter original: $\jupiter$, and Mars original: $\mars$ together. If they were present at the birth, wonders come forth daily, and the part is strongly from adultery from the fruit of calpe? Mars and Jupiter, with Aries at the end of the sign.
On the manner of the newborn, whether he be human or otherwise
Sun in Aries
Since the manner of the newborn's image may be that of an animal or a human, it will be according to the manner of that nativity; and this comes from the side of the wise and is spoken truly, despite errors. And it must first be known, namely Mars and Jupiter, for he who speaks of the wise in the nativity [places] Mars in Aries, in Cancer original: $δ$, or in Pisces. That which is brought forth is according to the law as explained; finally, his own completion. And it is called "shunned"; he says here that this leads to great error, though he himself is entirely wisdom, so you should know. It would signify that the manner of the newborn is nothing but similar to wounds and an imitator, just as he folds himself as he increases. And his "asininity" term: asinitas - likely referring to the 'Aselli' stars in Cancer or a specific astrological 'Lot' of foolishness speaks most [of this]. And the Sun, Jupiter, and Mars [determine] the form; and if the Sun, Jupiter, and Mars are with the birth, they are human just as in the manner of the newborn and according to the elements. And then if he is born in the form of Mars in Aries, it is the same as the greater part of them, such as the damned, and they will be in the signs of beasts. It signifies in the nativity not a human, but one who is of the four-footed animals, such as dogs, and those which are asses. Jupiter should not appear, and then the sign is seen; let it not appear as Jupiter, since one born of quadrupeds is either a "biter" original: morsus or if it be that the form appears when the sign is seen, there will be claws and hair like dogs when they appear in form from the confinement [of the womb]. And just as they should not appear in the nativity as beasts if they eat men; and Hermes says if there shall be wisdom, since in Aries he is thought male, and the part of "asininity" is in the sign of fortune, and it is full in this that it condemns him from that part; and thus the newborn is a source of harm. And Mars and Jupiter have assisted him from Aries into Cancer, and unfortunate, and it is with the Sun in a small way as is the "asininity" of Jupiter. And they are with Mars; the sign may not be well-praiseworthy, and in an impeded sign. And the Sun and Mars, namely, may appear with the hours; if they are unfortunate, such as falling or as one regards as straight in his aspect in an impeded sign, he will be in the manner of a man but takes something from the hours. Thus says Hermes: let him be born from among evil animals, and let him not beware of animals that eat men unless they are present and the Sun or Jupiter appears. It is the testimony of Mars if Jupiter and the Sun are in Aries, born in Scorpio so as to behold it, or in Aries. Look to the part of condemnation of Mars, and better it is said the Sun and Jupiter and Mars, and "asininity" appears, and in one place let it be without life, and let it appear that there is life and a failure of the signs. For if in the form of beasts, Mars, if by condemnation of wounds they fall back into an impeded sign, he is born of impediment and resembles beasts, such as a "biter." And regarding this, if the Sun and Jupiter were in that place, as one who is after me, let him make it as a house without a house; if the error falls that he be of the beasts, and to the testimony of the hours of Mars. If fortune appears in Aries, he is born in a high land like beasts eating men, or is in the "mouse" note: 'mure' likely refers to a specific decan or subdivision, or a corruption of 'more' (manner) of horses' forms, since the testimony is for him. And over Jupiter in Aries, let there not appear a house without a house, and it is in the "mouse" of the Sun; Jupiter is born a beast. Not only this, if Mars is anything, let Jupiter be at the sign of impediment, and misfortune appears in the nativity from the impediment of Aries or from the wounds of Mars. I, Ondar note: possibly the author's name or a corruption of 'concordar', with the like that they resemble the wise in their hours: Mars and Jupiter are born "asininity" Aries 18, Cancer, and all in the "mouse" of Cancer, Aries, and opposite in Aries, Cancer 39, Aries; and afterwards he makes in every Cancer, Aries, every Aries 29, Cancer, and Aries, Cancer, and Aries in Aries, Cancer, and Aries in Aries, Sun, Jupiter, Mars, Cancer, Aries 26, Aries, and Aries, Mars 21, Aries, and Aries... I go because Jupiter, Aries, and Cancer are the roots from the confinement, and Aries which is the lord of "asininity" in the house of the Sun without a house, and Jupiter in the Sun without a house moreover. And here the Sun, if it be in the middle in Aries, it falls, and Mars in Cancer, the lords of the house of the Sun in the face, and in the opposite of the Sun, the Sun and "asininity" is in its own house. They say therefore, and truly, since he was born of beasts, and those who afterwards fall back into the sign of impediment; and Jupiter in Aries, let him not be born, and in the "mouse" in the sign of impediment, and the lord in the sign of impediment, and the lord Jupiter and "asininity" and condemnation.
