Years
It begins from the Lord of the Ascendant in that year and for each year, and it is unique according to the property of the primary Causes original: "Caus", likely referring to the causal planetary influences of each chapter. And these are the years from the Moon original: "lunae" which are pleasing, as it is necessary for a wise man in your operation; and before the primary [calculation], it leads into the canon of the table more than anything else. And note that it is said that the life of each person is in the shadows in the kingdom's governance, and it says that if one month is placed in fear, then those years will be greater. And if it begins from Saturn, it will be first. But if Jupiter shines, and if you multiply 10 by [the proper factor], it makes 120, and those are the "Great Years." And similarly, if Mars falls, you multiply 9 by 7 and the total becomes 108, and those are the "Lesser Years" of Mars. But for the "Middle Years" of Jupiter and Saturn, one takes the half of the greater ones, which is 60, and adds the years previously noted which are 10; that makes 60, and let it become 49 The arithmetic here reflects specific astrological traditions where "years" are added or subtracted based on planetary dignity, and take the half of them, which is 24 and a half, and those are the "Middle Years" of Jupiter. And he halved the years of Saturn, 250, and they are 150, and added to them the previous years which are 27, making 147; then he took the half of those, which is 74 and a half. The primary years of Jupiter and Saturn are 40. Now, if Jupiter aspects the month, Mars gives the planet to this galaxy which is in 19 degrees of Virgo; thus the primary years, if they are placed there, are 19 years. But the three times of the month, it is said, approach Andromeda until it comes to the wind, which is 24 days; and from that relief, the primary years are 27. But the primary years of Venus are 120 after the equal aspect to the water, because they are 20 days or as such. But the primary years of Mercury are 20 years... Jupiter... 12... because both months are the whole. But because they are 8, because now the months contain the matter in the Moon. And because the cause stands from the house of the wise according to the days, they are a sign of the night, but the months are indeed the primary years of the Moon, and it is from 18 to 20 years. But the "Middle Years" of the Moon are 12, and he took from the primary month and more, and thus it is the middle.
Know that the "Divider of Years" in a birth original: "nati", referring to the subject of a horoscope is through the aspects in the Ascendant, however many cases there are in this, and you should take what remains from the first, from Jupiter in the Ascendant, as well as from the Lord of the [House] which disposes the years of the birth. If anything remains... it is necessary that we fear the governance of the body, only seven [planets] and the cases of others, and in the primary ones until the life of the newborn is completed. And calculate the planets aspecting the governance and their strength face to face with the face of the Lord of the [House]. And if both are present, it will unluckily affect his portion of death. And if both are unfortunate, it will unluckily affect his portion in death. And if the Lord is the giver of evil and aspects the form, mix the water of the present strength... which he gives in the form that aspects him, and allege it to himself. And if no planet aspects the Lord of the [House], he himself provides more from the dismissal of the birth; those are the portions... the Lord of the [House] through the birth, and the primary aspects of Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, the Sun, Venus, Mercury, and the Moon. And to this, the Lord of the [House] gives to the one born in those years his own [influence] and the month and the house through the aspects, which gives ornament and the greatness of fate, and among others, high men, and he governs wisely and the portion of the lords... and books. And the aspect of Jupiter being present commends prudence and the friendship of men, and joy and virtue. But the [aspect of Saturn] brings sharp things which are not present, pain and weeping and sadness, death from the deceased and the envy of pain itself, and the portion of the born one moves from pain to melancholy. And the aspect of Mars brings speed and hot pain and the evil of fire and blood, and fear of death, and is generated in a descending place. The aspect of the Sun moves the born one in a great time, the Lord of the [House] disposes him, and on a good day, being present, it gives confidence... the misery of the born one. But because the wise dismiss [this], because the [House] disposes the seventh strength of the greatest in the form of the month, and its aspect from the hour of the birth of the child up to 2 years of life. No more, therefore, do we measure the death which he dismisses from fate and from the familiarity of his own Lord... so that they do not reach that center where he can have it. But remember the disposition of the birth... in both born ones, therefore I shall speak in the spoken prayer... and they will understand, seeing the aspect of the man and the subtle strength as much as possible, and we lead the cases into the disposition... and he rotates with them and hopes for them... But I say that he who is present and nourished by the Lord is loved by those present and they have much milk... and the aspect in the hour of presence is pleasing to the [House]... if the unfortunate one helps his virtue, he himself primarily... or the Lord presents a sickness to the born one in the first or second year through the present portion... to which fear he responded... Therefore, the two portions of the face in the disposition of the fear of death and the loss of virtue...
