believed He The fifth letter of the Hebrew alphabet: ה. to be a vowel. This is not the opinion of the Book of Formation original: "Sefer Yetzirah," a foundational text of Jewish mysticism.. It counts He ה among the simple letters, and, consequently, no sound in addition to that of h can be attached to it. On the other hand, the He ה occurs at the end of words as silent, indicating that it occupies the place of a vowel letter. We must therefore assume that the Book of Formation considers He ה to play the same part among the vowel letters as zero does among numerals. As zero is not a digit itself, but only occupies the place of a digit, so the silent He ה is not a vowel itself, but merely occupies the place of a vowel. In the Tetragrammaton The four-letter Name of God, YHWH., both the He ה after the Vav ו and the He ה after the Yod י occupy the place of a vowel letter. The original letters of the Tetragrammaton were Y-A-U-A original: "יעוא" instead of Y-H-W-H original: "יהוה".
Now, what is the "great secret," which the three mother letters (vowels) A-M-Sh original: "אמש" contain according to the Book of Formation? Dunash Ibn Tamim A 10th-century scholar and physician. declared it to be the three vowel letters A-Y-V original: "איו", which he identified with the Tetragrammaton יהוה the "secret name." In my opinion, A-M-Sh אמש stands for A-A-U original: "אעו", and A-M-T original: "אמת" which occurred in the Rashi A famous 11th-century French rabbi and commentator. text of the Book of Formation (Rashi, commentary on Job 28, 27; S. Sachs, The Dove original Hebrew title: "היונה" (Ha-Yonah)., p. 94) stands for Y-A-U original: "יעו". According to the original Book of Formation there are four mother letters, A-M-Sh-T original: "אמשת", cryptograms which should be deciphered by the letters A-A-U-Y original: "אעוי": the Aleph א by Aleph א, the Tet ט by the Ayin ע, the Shin ש by the Vav ו and the Tav ת by the Yod י. From these four letters emanated, according to the Book of Formation, the four elements, air, water, fire, and earth.
The Book of Formation apparently used A-M-Sh-T אמשת as secret characters representing A-A-U-Y אעוי, because the Hebrew alphabet is
