The seven seals; the seven times / and the seven petitions in the Our Father / etc. These "sevens" refer to the seven properties of eternal nature, a core concept in Böhme's cosmology where the number seven represents the completed manifestation of God's spirit.
12. So also the twelve numbers of the hours are indicated in the Scriptures, wherein this is to be noted. But because he left the Unity of God / as the true Wisdom / and lusted after the cleverness of Knowledge original: "Erkäntnuß"; specifically the "Knowledge of Good and Evil." / where evil and good are mixed / so also the Spirit of the World original: "Spiritus Mundi"; the animating spirit of the physical, temporal universe. seized him and led him into the changeable wheel of time and vanity / so that he fell from his height and dignity; just as the Spiritus Mundi even at this hour and until the end of time / publicly depicts this on all clock-circles in the world with this ♄ Character The astrological symbol for Saturn, representing time, lead, and the melancholy or "contractive" force in Böhme's signature of things. / though it is considered or understood by no one.
Thirdly, it signifies the name JESUS, as the highest love of the Unity of God / who gave himself into the death of fallen man / and birthed him again to life; he has conquered again the lost kingdom of man / has Ascended to heaven / and has taken up again the royal Place original: "Locum" of Paradise / reigns now in the spirit of the believers / and will, after the completion of time, reign with them as their King and Divine Monarch of Peace into all eternity.
Fourthly, there are more other interpretations of the types of Christ in the patriarchs Isaac / Jacob / Judah / Joseph etc. / which are to be found in their designated places.
