“I leave the World, and go to the Father,” Chapter 16:28. And further through this: “We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding, that we might know the True One, and we are in the True One in His Son Jesus Christ: This is the true God and eternal Life,” 1 John Chapter 5:20, 21. From these passages it is clear that without the Lord’s coming into the World, no one could have been saved. It is the same today; therefore, unless the Lord comes again into the World in Divine TruthIn this context, Divine Truth refers to the internal spiritual meaning of the Bible, which Swedenborg believed he was revealing., which is the Word, no one can be saved.
The particulars of faith on the part of man are: 1. That God is One, in whom is the Divine Trinity, and that He is the Lord God the Savior Jesus Christ. 2. That saving Faith is to believe in Him. 3. This term refers to the final end of a spiritual era or "dispensation" when genuine faith and love have been lost. that scarcely any remnants of it remain. This happened because they divided the Divine Trinity into three Persons, each of whom is God and Lord; from this, something like a frenzy has flowed into the whole of Theology, and thus into the Church, which—
