1. In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.

13. And evening was made, and morning was made, a third day.
14. And God said: Let there be luminaries in the firmament of heaven for illumination upon the earth: that they may discern between day and night: and let them be in signs and in times, and in days and in years.
15. And let them be for illumination in the firmament of heaven that they may shine upon the earth. And it was done so.
16. And God made two great luminaries: the greater luminary for the leadings of the day, and the lesser luminary for the leadings of the night, and the stars.
17. And God placed them in the firmament of heaven, that they might shine upon the earth,
