The title page is framed with religious engravings. At the top are three panels: the left shows the creation of man; the center shows a globe beneath a radiant triangle representing the Trinity, flanked by the sun and moon; the right shows Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. A horizontal divider separates the top panels from the middle section. In the middle section, the Prophet Moses stands on the left holding the stone tablets, and King David stands on the right with a harp. They flank a large central scroll containing the title. At the bottom are three more panels: the Nativity on the left, the Last Supper in the center, and the Crucifixion on the right.
An ornate woodcut or engraved printer's device or coat of arms featuring a crowned double-headed imperial eagle. The eagle holds a sword in its right claw and a scepter in its left. A shield is positioned on its breast. Above the heads is a radiant solar or divine motif.
