...Six days He worked; and we keep Sabbath¹ original: "nasenbet" — "we keep Sabbath." And He made therein a sign for them so that they too might keep Sabbath with us on the seventh day—to eat, and to drink, and to bless Him who created all things, just as He has blessed and sanctified for Himself a people who appear from among all nations, and that they might keep Sabbath together with us.
And He made His will come to pass⁹ variant in Codex A: "for Him" before Him, offering a sweet fragrance which is acceptable before Him all the days. There were 22 heads of humanity original: "፳ወ፪" — Ge'ez numeral for 22.
