181 And Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians; and he was powerful in his words and in his deeds. But when his fortieth year original: "τεσσερακονταετής χρόνος" (forty-year time) was completed, it entered into his heart to visit his brothers, the sons of Israel.

182 And seeing one being wronged, he defended him; and he took vengeance for the one who was oppressed by striking down the Egyptian. Now, he supposed that his brothers would understand that God was giving them salvation through his hand; but they did not understand. And on the following day, he appeared to them as they were fighting; and he tried to reconcile them to peace, saying, "Men, you are brothers; why do you wrong one another?"

But the one who was wronging his neighbor pushed him away, saying, "Who appointed you a ruler and a judge over us? Do you want to kill me the same way you killed the Egyptian yesterday?" At this word, Moses fled; and he became a stranger original: "πάροικος" (sojourner/resident alien) in the land of Midian, where he fathered two sons. And when forty years were completed, an angel appeared to him in—

And Moses was trained in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. And he was powerful in his words and in his deeds. When the time of forty years was fulfilled for him, it fell into his heart to go around and see his brothers, the sons of Israel. And seeing one who was being deprived original: "զրկեալ" (deprived/cheated/wronged), he defended him and took vengeance for the wronged one, and he killed the Egyptian. And he thought that his brothers would take to mind original: "ի միտ առնուցուն" (would understand/perceive) that God would give them salvation through his hand; but they did not understand. And on the next day, he appeared to them while they were fighting. And he reconciled them to peace, saying, "Men, you are brothers; why do you wrong each other?"

But the one who was wronging his companion rejected him and said, "Who appointed you a prince and a judge over us? Do you perhaps want to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian yesterday?" And Moses fled because of these words. And he became a stranger sojourner original: "պանդուխտ" (a traveler or foreigner staying in a strange land) in the land of Midian, where two sons were born to him. And at the completion of forty years, there appeared to him—

15 —the wilderness of Mount Sinai, an angel in a flame of fire in a bush original: "βάτου" (bramble/bush). When Moses saw it, he wondered at the vision; and as he approached to examine it, the voice of the Lord original Greek uses Nomina Sacra: "κῦ" for Kyriou (Lord) came to him:

"I am the God original: "θς" (Theos) of your fathers, the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob." And Moses, having become terrified, did not dare to examine it. But the Lord said to him, "Loose the sandals from your feet; for the place on which you stand is holy ground. Seeing, I have seen the mistreatment of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning; and I have come down to rescue them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt."

This Moses, whom they denied, saying, "Who appointed you a ruler and a judge?"—this man God sent as both ruler and redeemer original: "λυτρωτὴν" (ransomer/liberator) by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush. This man led them out, performing—
See angel [...] voice [...] —wonders and signs in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the wilderness for forty years. This is the Moses who said to the sons of Israel, "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet from your brothers, like me."

This is the one who was in the assembly original: "ἐκκλησίᾳ" (ekklesia/church) in the wilderness with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai and with our fathers; he received living oracles original: "λόγια ζῶντα" (living words/divine utterances) to give to us. Our fathers did not wish to be obedient to him, but they pushed him away and in their hearts they turned back to Egypt, SAYING TO AARON:

—in the land of Sinai, on the mountain, in which [was] the flame of fire of the bush. And Moses, having seen it, wondered at the vision. And as he approached to see it, the voice of the Lord came: "I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob." And Moses, struck with fear, did not dare to look. And the Lord said to him, "Loose the shoes from your feet, for that place where you stand is holy ground. Truly seeing, I have seen the suffering of my people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their groaning, and I have come down to save them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt."

This Moses, whom they denied and said, "Who appointed you a prince and a judge?"—this man God sent as a prince and a savior original: "փրկիչ" (savior/rescuer) by the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush. This man brought them out, having performed signs and wonders in the land of the Egyptians, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness for forty years. This is Moses, who said to the sons of Israel, "The Lord our God will raise up for you a prophet from your brothers, like me; listen to him."

This is the one who was in the congregation original: "յեկեղեցւոջն" (in the church/assembly) in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke with him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers; he also received the living commandments original: "պատգամս կենդանիս" (living messages/oracles) to give to us. To him our fathers did not wish to be subject, but they rejected him and turned in their hearts to Egypt, and they said to Aaron:
