From the Acts of the
Holy Apostles.
And when they came up out
of the water, the Spirit of the Lord
snatched Philip away,
and the eunuch saw him
no more. For he
went on his way
rejoicing. But
Philip was found
at Azotus; and
passing through, he
preached the gospel to
all the cities,
until he
came to
Caesarea.
And when they came up
from that water, the Holy Spirit
came upon the eunuch original: "հոգին սուրբ եկն ի վերայ ներքինւոյն" — this specific detail about the Spirit descending on the eunuch is a well-known feature of the ancient Armenian translation and some early Greek manuscripts, though absent from modern standard bibles.. And an angel
of the Lord snatched away
Philip. And no longer
did the eunuch see
him. And he went

rejoicing. But Philip was found
in Azotus. And passing through,
he preached the
gospel to all the
cities, until his arrival
at Caesarea.

And in Damascus
there was a certain disciple

and seek
in the house of Judas,
Saul by name, a
Tarsian. For behold,
he is praying." And
he saw in a vision
a man named
Ananias, entering
and laying
his hand on
him, so
that he might see again.
But Ananias
answered, "Lord,
I have heard from
many about
this man, how much
evil he did to your
saints in
Jerusalem; and here..."

and he did not eat, and he did not drink.
And there was a certain disciple
in Damascus, Ananias

the Lord said to him, "Arise and

Saul the Tarsian.
For he is still in the midst
of prayer." And he saw in

Ananias
gave answer, "Lord, I have heard from

And here he has ...?"
