And it happened that Peter,
passing through all places,
went down also to the
saints who were dwelling
in Lydda. And he found there
a certain man, Aeneas
by name, who for eight
years had been
lying upon
a bed, for he was
paralyzed. And
Peter said to
him: "Aeneas,

Speaking boldly in the name of the Lord original: տն̅ (Tyarn),
he spoke and disputed
with the Greeks. And they
were jealous and sought to kill
him. And the
brothers having understood,
they brought him down
to Caesarea, and
sent him to Tarsus.
But the

It happened in the journeying

turned to the Lord original: κ̅ν̅ (Kyron).
In Joppa there was a certain
disciple named
Tabitha, which being translated
is called Dorcas original: Δορκάς — meaning Gazelle.
This woman was
full of good works
and alms which
she did. And it happened in
those days that
she became sick and
died; and having
washed her, they placed
her in an upper
room. And Lydda being
near to Joppa, the
disciples, having heard
that Peter was in it,
sent two men,
urging him, "Do not
delay in coming to
us." Having arisen,
Peter went with them.
When he arrived, they
led him up to the upper room.
All the widows
stood by him
weeping and
showing him
the tunics and garments,
as many as
Dorcas had made while
she was with them.
But having put
everyone outside, Peter
knelt down and
prayed; and turning...

arose immediately. And
everyone saw him
who dwelt in Lydda

And Lydda was near Joppa.
The disciples, having heard
that Peter was there,
sent two men to him,
entreating, "Do not delay
[to come] to us."
Having arisen, Peter
came with them.
When he came, they took
