This third and final volume of the Magical PapyrusSpecifically referring to the London-Leiden Papyrus, a significant 3rd-century CE Egyptian handbook containing spells, recipes, and rituals written in both the Demotic script and Greek. contains a Demotic GlossaryA specialized dictionary or word-list for the Demotic script, which was a late, cursive form of ancient Egyptian writing used for daily and literary purposes. and various indices. Originally we had the intention of adding a chapter on the grammar of the text, as is indicated by a few references made to it in the notes of Vol. I., but various circumstances have prevented its fulfilment. We much regret the long delay in the appearance of the present volume.
