The form cursive sign (hieroglyphic forms Eye of Horus/ir-glyph 27/10, hieroglyphs (?) 13/2) is used for the stm-f A standard Egyptian verb conjugation used for various tenses and relative forms, for the infinitive (both the absolute and construct forms), and usually for the infinitive when combined with a pronoun suffix (5/14, 24/11 etc.). However, occasionally the latter form is written as iy-f (Demotic 21/35, Verso 12/5), iy.t-f (Demotic Verso 12/5) and even iy-y.t-f (Demotic Verso 12/6); see entry number 28 above and compare the Coptic forms aa or aio. The imperative command form is Demotic a.iry which corresponds to the Coptic ari (2/26, 7/7, 8/6, Verso 14/6); though the infinitive is also sometimes used to give a command (10/32, 24/28, Verso 3/3, 18/10).
