This second block of text is situated to the left of the plant's lower stem and its intricate root system. The character "9" at the end of the final line is a common Voynich symbol often found at the ends of words.
Illustration Description: This page features a plant with a single green stalk and pairs of dark green, four-pointed leaves. It is topped by a large, upright, blue bell-shaped flower with a white fringed interior, and a smaller similar bud or flower to the side. The most striking feature is the root: a long, segmented, brownish-red structure with white bands at the joints, covered in fine hairs or rootlets.
