SIR PRATĀP SINGH SĀHIB BAHĀDUR,
The circular seal of the "RESEARCH DEPARTMENT JAMMU & KASHMIR STATE". The central emblem features a heraldic coat of arms with two figures (supporters) flanking a shield. Above the shield is a crown and a sun with a face. Below the shield is a scroll with a motto written in Devanagari script. The name of the department is encircling the image.
