From whom all diverse movements arise, from whom the foundations of bliss and consciousness emerge;
Whose very splendor of power is all this, and who is of such a nature:
May that radiance—the non-dual essence of the Trika|The "Threefold" system of Kashmiri Shaivism, focusing on the triad of the individual, the divine power, and the Supreme Lord reality, which shines with the fullness of sovereign freedom—

The following are textual variants found in different manuscript copies used by the editors.
Line 1, Manuscript B: "From whom the diverse movements [arise] which are appropriate, those various manifestations of the world..."
Manuscript C: "...which are appropriate, those various powers of manifestation. May that radiance—the non-dual essence of the Threefold Reality, which has arisen from the delusion of Maya. That which never assumes such a form, or rather, which is of such a form: May it entirely dispel the darkness residing in the dwelling of my heart."
