A faint, mirrored offset impression of a 17th century engraved frontispiece. At the top, a decorative, draped banner contains several lines of text. Below the banner, the main illustration depicts three figures in an outdoor setting. On the left, a man stands in profile facing right. He wears a wide brimmed hat and a heavy, floor length cloak. He appears to be holding a large hat or a basket in his hands. To the right, two figures are grouped together. A woman in a long gown is positioned near another figure, possibly a child or a seated person. The background is sparsely detailed, with a simple horizon line. The entire scene is reversed, with the printer information visible at the bottom.
