Two jewel-like volumes are being published in a most beautiful style under the editorship of Acharya A title for a highly learned teacher or preceptor Shri Madhusudan Shastri. Within these, there is ample material for the entertainment of warm-hearted scholars, for the study of the devoted community of students, and for the cultivation of virtue among passionate readers.
Shastri Ji’s profound scholarship is exceptionally clever in refining traditional methods; it is expert in attracting the attention of scholars and acts as a restorative tonic original: "Rasayana" - an Ayurvedic term for a rejuvenating elixir for nourishing the intellect of students.
Regarding the Natya Shastra The foundational ancient Indian treatise on performing arts, drama, and aesthetics, this is the first effort I have seen since the time of the venerable teacher Abhinavagupta A 10th-century philosopher and aesthetician who wrote the definitive commentary on the Natya Shastra that reaches this level. Concerning the Rasagangadhara A major 17th-century work on poetic theory, one cannot remain silent: just as its creator, Panditaraj Referring to Jagannatha Panditaraja, the author of Rasagangadhara, flourished and developed his brilliance in Rajasthan, it is a matter of great joy that the most excellent explanation of this difficult text is also being produced by a scholar from Rajasthan. I pray to Lord Vishvanath The patron deity of the city of Kashi/Varanasi that this work spreads and gains popularity among the public.
