8 Whether thou come from earth or from the lofty, bright realm of heaven,
Grow stronger in thy body through my song of praise: fill all creatures with thy presence, O most wise!
9 If, loving the forests well, thou wentest to thy motherly waters,
That return of thine is not to be scorned, Fire original: "Agni", now that thou art here with us from afar.
10 O Fire, Manu The legendary first man and father of the human race. established thee as a light for all the race of men:
With Kanva A famous ancient sage or seer. hast thou blazed, born of the Eternal Law original: "Ṛta"; the cosmic order that governs the universe. and grown strong, thou whom the people revere.

CHAPTER II.

DECADE I.

1 May the God who gives wealth accept your full offering poured to him!
Pour it out, then fill the vessel full again, for the God watches over you with favor.
