Charles VI was the Holy Roman Emperor and a great patron of the arts; Fux served as his "Supremo Chori Præfecto" or Supreme Kapellmeister.

A decorative woodcut vignette featuring symmetrical acanthus leaf scrolls and floral motifs. In the center, there is a shadowed or blank architectural space. The entire arrangement is topped by a small decorative urn or basket filled with flowers.
