A decorative rectangular bookplate border made of repeating ornamental vessel icons. Centered within is the Harvard University seal: a laurel wreath encircling a shield that contains three open books. The top two books are inscribed with "VE" and "RI", and the bottom book with "TAS", forming the motto "VERITAS" Latin: "Truth".
