The following line appears at the very top of the page in a mirrored orientation.
original: "Th. Albini M. D." This likely refers to a previous owner of the book, possibly the 17th-century physician Thomas Albinus.
This page displays a large rectangular border containing a symbolic illustration and various scientific instruments. Because this is the back of the title page, the image appears in reverse as a bleed-through from the front. A central figure stands inside a double-lined circle marked with the letter 'Q', holding a large globe that shows land and water. The frame is filled with small dots or stars. Instruments include a pair of drafting compasses, a set of balance scales, a sunburst or sun-like face, an architect's square, and a classical urn. Latin mottoes frame the border. Modern 20th-century handwriting and numbers have been added over the illustration.
original: "PER DENOMINATIONEM SVMPTAM." In medieval logic, "denomination" refers to naming a thing based on its qualities or attributes.
TERMS THROUGH WONDER IN THIS PRACTICE BY NAME AND WIFE FROM BRAHE’S COSMOGRAPHYoriginal: "NOMINE ET VXORE A BRAHIA COSMOGRAPHIAE." This marginal note likely references the famous Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe and his descriptions of the universe.

The second part encourages humble or virtuous speech.
Small, faint, upright pencil notes in the bottom right corner. These appear to be later scholarly shorthand or shelf marks.
