From the House of Probation of the Society of Jesus of Seville. From the entire [collection] of the Lord Bishop of Baena. Spanish: "dela Casa de prouacion dela Compⁱᵃ de Jesv De Sevilla. De todo el Sᵒʳ Obispo Debena." This indicates the book was part of a Jesuit training college and previously owned by a bishop.

A large rectangular woodcut illustration dominated by a central coat of arms. The shield is checkered (chequy) in five rows and four columns. It is surmounted by a galero (clerical hat) with a double-barred patriarchal cross; cords and tassels hang from the hat in symmetrical tiers on both sides. The central image is framed by a wide border featuring dense floral and foliate patterns. At the bottom of this border, two human figures in simple robes are shown kneeling and supporting a small, blank heraldic shield between them.
original: "Diui Raymūdi Lulli doctoris illuminatiss." Lull (c. 1232–1316) was a Majorcan philosopher and mystic known as "Doctor Illuminatus."
