This page is covered with a repetitive and dense decorative pattern of small green flowers. Each stylized flower has a circular center and many thin, radiating petals. They resemble daisies or chamomile blossoms. The pattern uses green ink on a light cream background. These flowers are arranged in closely packed, slightly offset rows. This creates a continuous floral texture across the entire sheet. A small reddish brown stain appears in the upper right area. A pink object, which may be a finger or a glove from the person handling the book, is visible at the bottom right corner of the image.
Endpaper: The leaf of paper at the beginning or end of a book. One half is typically pasted to the inside of the cover, while the other remains loose.
Motif: A recurring element or design in a decorative pattern.
