Then follow seven “Prayers” original Hebrew: tefillot (תפלות) in pure Hebrew with here and there a Cabbalistic name.
I give the first two as specimens:—
First Prayer: AGLA original: Agla (אגלא), a famous Kabbalistic acronym for the Hebrew phrase Ata Gibor Le-olam Adonai, meaning "Thou art mighty forever, O Lord." Light of Truth and Life, the Merciful Judge, protect me and help me through the power of mercy and patience in this holy vision, and be gracious unto me, Amen, O Lord.
Prayer 2: Monon A mystical name of God used in Kabbalistic invocations to signify His unique authority. O Lord, Holy Father, the Almighty, God of the universe, before whom are all things created and uncreated; the source of all creatures, whose eyes beheld the void of the world, and from the sweetness of His grace, heaven and earth were filled; His ears hear every deed, and before they existed, He saw them all; in His book all beings are inscribed, both divine powers original Hebrew: elim (אלים), referring to angelic or celestial beings rather than pagan gods and men. Grant us understanding this day toward Your downtrodden servant, with his spirit and body beneath Your feet; for the sake of Your holy spirit, be gracious to me and raise me up to behold Your majesty. Grant Your blessing this day upon all my works, and may the fulfillment of Your commandments and the holiness of Your vision enlighten me, Amen, O Lord.
The 8th “Prayer” contains simply Cabbalistic names.
The 9th consists of but one line.
The 10th is missing.
The 11th consists of two lines of Cabbalistic names.
The 12th to the 18th have simply the opening words, with “etc.” original Hebrew: v’khu ('וכו), an abbreviation for ve-khulei, meaning "and so on" or "etc." added, thus clearly referring to Prayers or Invocations well-known, and contained in fuller and older MSS term: MSS, an abbreviation for manuscripts.
The 19th to the 22nd are complete, but consist solely of Cabbalistic names.
The 23rd has but one word, with “etc.” added.
The 24th is complete; only Cabbalistic names.
