The 25th and 26th [prayers] have but one introductory Kabbalistic referring to Kabbalah, a school of Jewish mysticism word.
Folio 3a the front side of the third leaf has:— The first: P.A.V. and H.V. mystical letter combinations or abbreviations; Elisha the biblical prophet mentioned these: Abag Yatatz original Hebrew: אבג יתץ; a powerful six-letter name of God derived from the prayer Ana Be-Koach
Mabak Ye’atz another mystical divine name. This is the name Apotal an angelic or divine name that the Priest wore upon his chest referring to the Choshen, the High Priest's breastplate when entering the Holy of Holies the innermost chamber of the Temple in Jerusalem, etc.
Folio 3b has the heading In the name of God, one of the compositions of the Seal of God, and continues the subject for four pages until 5b.
Folio 5b almost begins with the heading The Operation of the Ascent likely a ritual for spiritual elevation or achieving a higher state of consciousness, continuing until 6a, which contains 2 Prayers original Hebrew: tefillot (תפלות), the first termed a Proper Prayer original: tefillah nekhonah (תפלה נכונה).
Folio 6b has another "Prayer" in pure Hebrew beginning thus:— Prayer: Light of the world, the God whom
measure cannot contain, Father of Eternity, Giver of wisdom and knowledge and spiritual grace, etc.
F. 6b continues:— And I shall begin, with the help of the Helper, the second book of the Key original Hebrew: ha-mafte’ach (המפתח).
This passage gives us important information concerning the Title of the book. We have for the first time in the body of the manuscript the term Key original: mafte’ach (מפתח), equivalent to the Latin Clavis.
Following these introductory words comes this passage:—
This is a composition by Solomon, peace be upon him a traditional Hebrew honorific for the deceased, written in two books of discourses; in the first, it will be explained how the operations and experiments are to be understood, and how errors are recognized.
