This page is a botanical plate featuring three detailed engravings of bulbous flowering plants, shown in their entirety from roots to blooms. The central figure (labeled I) is the largest, depicting a plant with a cluster of drooping, bell-shaped flowers atop a tall, thick stem. It has long, narrow, arching leaves emerging from a large, textured bulb with many fine roots. Flanking it are two shorter plants. On the left (labeled III) is a hyacinth with a dense spike of small bell-shaped flowers and shorter, pointed leaves. On the right (labeled II) is another hyacinth, similar in structure to the one on the left but with a slightly different flower density. Both side plants are also shown with their respective bulbs and roots.
