Andrea Cesalpino

Andrea Cesalpino (1524–1603) was an Italian physician, philosopher, and botanist who produced one of the first scientific classifications of plants based on their fruits and seeds.

Peripatetic Questions original: "Quaestiones Peripateticas". This refers to the philosophical school of Aristotle; Cesalpino was a prominent defender of Aristotelian thought in the Renaissance.
