thereof, shall not have any Pilot imposed upon them, or pay any Pilotage A fee paid for the conduct of a ship into or out of a port by a pilot. for the said Ship or Vessel, unless it be the desire of the Master or Owner thereof to have a Pilot to carry out the said Ship or Vessel; but if that Pilot doth come out to Sea without the Bar A sandbar or shallow area at the mouth of a harbor., to meet any of the said Ships or Vessels coming to these Islands, he shall have 20 s. 20 shillings. for Pilotage, whether or no the said Ship do accept or refuse it.
And further, Be it Enacted by the Authority aforesaid, for divers good and weighty considerations, That no other Port-Charges shall be paid by the Ships or Vessels belonging to these Islands, save Tolage Tollage: a tax or duty paid for the use of a port or market. and Wharfage A fee charged for unloading goods onto a pier or wharf.; and the said Pilotage in manner and form aforesaid: any Law, Custom, or Order to the contrary in any wise notwithstanding.
