You, a PARIS, have renewed the Trojan thefts, but safe through art, having despoiled the riches of Pallas.
He brought back slaughter in exchange for his theft; but you, O BOLOGNA, bring back gifts from the City in place of a ravished Pallas.

THE illustrious youth congratulates you on this mellifluous work, and for scattering learned honey in noble honeycombs;
While you hallow the honey of wisdom for this PARIS: a diligent bee, who gathers sweets in our green fields.
