Regarding the primary work of proofreading, in relation to Dr. Shirai’s collation:
In light of that collation, for all points existing in each entry,
I have corrected only those which should be recognized—
specifically, only those which should be recognized as transcription errors.
I have merely followed the text of the original woodblock print as it is;
to rely upon the original text in its original state is deemed acceptable.
